Artist statement

BLUE PHENOMENON

Print means to me a special and close relationship with materials. It´s very related with memory and traces in our minds. In my work I dont´t want to represent objective world literally. I just provise clues and indications for building own scheme of meaning. Our memory is the best architect of perceived, but not necessary truly, reality. Contructs. Persuades. Shapes external world according our own habits. But what is outside? We using science, physical and optical laws to feel more „sure“. In Blue Phenomenon I use just fragments bonded together in composition. Blue flow of rivers, flow of our minds and thoughs. Dark nook of jungle, related to labyrinth of our minds. And cler-cut geometrical shape. Strict and determinate just like laws inside us. We´re living in environment full of phenomenons. Subtle moments that appeared and fadeout in timeless flow.
